Blythewood is a small town on the outskirts of Columbia, South Carolina. It is rich with beautiful homes of all shapes and sizes, and beautiful sightseeing spots, such as Doko Meadows. Blythewood also has a diverse community of people from many different backgrounds.
If I had to name something that I would like to see a change in concerning Blythewood, I would say the amount of activities available. Sure, there are a variety of small fast food chains and local grocery markets within the city limits. However, the town is so small that I find it hard to explore other options as far as how I would choose to spend my weekend. The local park is very beautiful, but I feel as though it would be beneficial to see more things to do there.

Blythewood is a small town with plenty of heart and community. Although it may seem small, the area contains many exceptional citizens. One benefit of a small area is that everything is either walking or driving distance. With the growing economy, businesses and activities are popping up left and right which provides opportunities to the residents. Only improvements I would like to see is the increase of community events and local festivals to attract contribution within the community.
I love how quiet Blythewood is, you are so close to the city but with a country setting. Great place to raise a family!
