Lots of suburban cookie-cutter homes out on the suburban exodus. If you want a home closer to Greenfield's downtown within a walkable neighborhood, good luck. They're beautiful, but they're also in high demand and, instead of building more homes on a street grid, developers just keep building McMansions on cul-de-sacs on the edge of the city. The apartment market isn't strong here, there are very few apartments in the walkable district.
Review Blue River Township
Greenfield has a good variety of different businesses for its' customers to purchase items/services they need/want, but I believe there are some businesses that Greenfield should add to its' area. For example, a mall would be really nice so people would not have to travel to other areas in Indiana to purchase clothes and other items that Greenfield lacks. There are a good size of fast-food restaurants, grocery stores, doctors' offices, salons, and small businesses and car dealerships, but there needs to be more clothing retail stores.
The employment in Greenfield seems to stand in a good position. Most people have jobs, and restaurants and other businesses are constantly hiring new workers, raising the employment rate. Top employers/companies in Greenfield are known to be Hancock Regional Hospital, Eli Lilly & Company, and Walmart Supercenter. Most people are employed in the fast food industry, and other businesses.
