Review Blue Ridge
Blue Ridge is one of my favorite places in Georgia. It has the most perfect sights to explore, the cutest shops and parts of town that take you back in time. Blue Ridge is an amazing, peaceful escape from the city life of Atlanta, there's no hustle and bustle at all hours of the night; the saying "it's too light out side at night to see starts" will no longer be a part of your vocabulary! Ellijay/ Blue Ridge is up in the mountains, and a little more country than what I'm use to. You won't be seeing a downtown Blue Ridge, similar to that of Atlanta, in Blue ridge.
Blue Ridge is a small town, with thriving businesses opening up in the downtown area every day. It's a great area if you're interested in the outdoors or even shopping on East Maine. Most people you meet in Blue Ridge are friendly and always eager to help an out-of-towner find their way if their lost. Blue Ridge is big into helping their own community by sponsoring events throughout the year to help students and young kids have plenty of meals and school materials by raising money each year. The citizens of Blue Ridge also welcome’s furry companions by organizing Paws in the Park each year to help raise money for the Humane Society and other shelters for dogs and cats. Speaking of pets, Blue Ridge is one of the most pet friendly cities you can find by offering pet friendly establishments in most places and store owners having dog bowls and treats on every corner. All in all, Blue Ridge is a quaint little town with tons of fun and great locals.
I enjoy vacationing in Blue Ridge, Ga. I have considered living in this particular area because everyone in the area was very nice and friendly. The scenery is very beautiful and the air is clean and fresh. After speaking with some of the residence, it is my understanding that the school system in the Blue Ridge area is a system of high approval. I think my main concern about living in this area would be the potential for icy conditions during the winter months. I am from south Georgia so I am not accustomed to the icy roads, especially in the areas of the mountains where ice may build up more abundantly.
