This is a great area for families. I have been able to do whatever activities I want here. Lots are available in this area and it is beautiful as well. It is easy to get to other surrounding cities without much traffic. The weather is nice and there are plenty of amazing private and public schools.
Fairly spread out suburb of Detroit that’s safe but requires a lot of driving. Good local schools for young families.
I love that all of the houses are far apart which means that you have a huge yard to relax and children can play in. The schools are also great in this area, they provide students with the absolute best education. Bloomfield Hills is also an incredibly safe area to be in. I do think that the houses and living cost could be more affordable and I would love to see more diversity.
Bloomfield Hills is a lovely suburb with a high level of diversity and wonderful public schools. Not great for walking but Birmingham (the next town over) is very good for walking.
Very nice area with lots of different industries. The School system is very good. Also, local businesses tend to do well here.
Bloomfield Hills is a bubble. The majority of the residents are affluent and have a sense of entitlement and superiority because of their wealth and status. This entitlement and privilege is reflected in the way even students act at the public schools. They are stuck in this bubble, and they don't realize how good they have it. They don't realize that the vast majority of Americans don't have maids that clean their McMansions and they don't just get Jeeps, BMWs, and Mercedes Benzes for their 16th birthdays. This makes it a toxic environment for people who aren't as wealthy or who just don't spend their money in such ways. It is also a bedroom community, providing very little entertainment for younger people.
No sidewalks and limited restaurants. No parks and no downtown. It’s really difficult to even call it a community since there aren’t those types of things which bind people together.
It is a good city with low crime however it is the typical suburbia with not much to do. Most people that live here are older wealthy people and it is not a great place for young people.
Great Community with growing social life, however needs to have more places for younger crowd to eat and hangout like Birmingham or Royal Oak
The people here are amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I love living here. It is a safe and amazing neighborhood.
The academics are amazing considering it’s well funded. The only thing is there isn’t much diversity. A lot of the people here are caucasian and some, unfortunately, happen to be racist, but other than that this city is great! It’s very safe and homey.
Very diverse, but the people are divided. I wish it was more united overall. I also wish they raised more awareness for important global issues as it is primary an economically stable community.
What I love most about Bloomfield Hills is all the opportunities it gives me. I am able to make connections with people in high places to further what I want to study in college, which is amazing.
Bloomfield Hills is a very family/elderly friendly city. It has a great public school and isn't too large of a city, just right. They stay very on top of city maintenance as well.
I would start by saying that bloomfield schools are good academically. I also would say that Bloomfield Hills is very safe and I don't have to worry about my safety. Bloomfield Hills is a very family friendly area with many sidewalks. I would also argue that Bloomfield Hills is pretty affordable as properties are not extremely expensive.
I grew up here. The school system is great. I like the peacefulness and the beauty of the city. Yes it is pricey and has no "night life" area, but it's just a very safe and great place overall.
Very safe and friendly area. A lot of recreational activities available. It is not too crowded and has much greenery to compliment the homes in the area. Strong academics in the school district.
