Like small town atmosphere, the ability of drive anywhere within a few minutes, would like to see more job opportunities to grow the population. More job opportunities would attract younger people to live and work here.

Overall the town is quiet and for the most part everyone keeps to themselves. After living here for a while, I have noticed underling problems. Mostly in Blackwell's education system. It's a program that has been going for generations. I work at the library, and we are trying to offer different options for the youth of Blackwell to come in and keep busy.
The bills are outrageous. The streets are horrible. The water is awful and unsafe to drink. I love the people. I pastor a small church and they are wonderful people.
