Blackhawk is a safe , diverse community. The atmosphere is very friendly and the facilities including the new gym are excellent. There is something for every age group from the Hox swim team to the 9ers and 18 holers golf team, Tennis, Bocce, 2 championships golf courses, numerous tennis courts, Olympic pool, and many restaurant and community events. There is so much more but I only am allowed 100 characters

There is a variety of shops, restaurants, and night life.
Perfect weather except for our major drought. The drought is pretty awful.
