I love that I can be close to the city area and still have the country life. It is very quite where I live as is most of the surroundings of Blackfoot. There are plenty of little local shops that are available to shop in and as well the ever exciting Eastern Idaho State Fair that is every year!

Nice small-town feel within driving distance to larger cities. Doesn't offer much in regards to entertainment or nightlife, but the necessities are all there.
Jensen's grove pond is perfect location for families and the city park is amazing! Their fireworks display on the fourth of July is one of the best I have ever seen or experienced. Definitely rivals some of the other big displays!
