Beautiful area that provides both comfort and convenience! Located about 15 miles east of Asheville, Black Mountain provides a very suburban feel in which you can find the comforts of some country living while having the conveniences of shops, traveling, etc. close by.
Black Mountain is a beautiful town tucked away in the Appalachian Mountains. About 15 minutes outside of the city of Asheville, Black Mountain is an active town full of engaging social events and well connected to the outdoors!
I grew up in Black Mountain and it is an amazing place to be raised. A really safe town to live in. Crime and violence are extremely low and rare. The school system here is amazing! The teachers really care about the child as a whole and their ultimate goal is to make sure they are in a learning environment where they will thrive. Black Mountain is a small town, so seeing familiar faces when you go out is common, but Black Mountain is also big enough o where you will meet new people every day. This place is absolutely stunning all year-round, but even more so in the fall. Tons of community events all-year long.
