Big Lake Reviews

Something I have always appreciated about Big lake is that safety. Sure lots of people would prefer the big city or a country side that has lots of land. Not me, I love the fact that this small town is peaceful, safe, and comfortable. I love being able to go outside for a walk at any time of day or night. I can go to the lake, a restaurant, or the library in just a short walk. I believe this is a perfect place to start and raise a family, or simply live out the rest of your days.
Big Lake is a small town with little to do. Most people enjoy going up north to their cabins on the weekends or spending time on their boats, fishing, swimming in the lake and gardening with bonfires at night. The citizens are very active with law enforcement and have a built up a great relationships with them. Most people are willing to help out if they can. Big Lake does need more variety in food and shopping besides what is in the nearby towns.
I enjoy the small-town feel while being a decent drive to a major area. I have not lived here an entirely long time but I enjoy living here.
