Beverly Hills is a pretty small, kind of boring town. There is not much to do in this town. There area a couple of plazas that include a dollar general, dollar tree, auto zone and a couple of banks to name a few. All the neighborhoods are quiet and safe except for a few but those are obvious and located near the park. There are a couple of parks but only one has a basketball court and a softball field. There is a Publix off of Forest Ridge Blvd. that is on the outskirts of Beverly Hills. The Publix is in a plaza that has a Verizon, Burger King, a dry cleaners and other stores. Right before the Publix is an elementary school. Across and adjacent from the Publix is a CVS, Walgreens, and a currently under construction free standing hospital respectively. A lot of the area near Beverly Hills is meant for retirement so there are a lot of 55-60+ exclusive communities. There are a few golf courses a library, Wendys, a YMCA and a Walmart within 10-15 min from the town.
Beverly Hills is a nice and growing town. There is not a lot here, but just enough for your everyday needs. It is up and coming as the increased construction is bringing more to this town.
I think Beverly Hills is a decent place to live. The schools I attended in the area are relatively safe and the staff are more than willing to accommodate for students with disabilities (like myself). A local library makes it easier to find reading material and give young people something to do. Friendly and tidy neighbors are somewhat to be desired for, as many seem to prefer to mind their own business, but I've hardly ever felt unsafe. Overall, if you're looking for a good school, a place to spend your time, and some privacy, this is the place to be.
