Bethpage is known for its famous Bethpage Black golf course at the Bethpage State Park, but it is so much more than that. The history of this small town goes back to the 1850's. To live here is really to have the feel of community. We are a diverse group of people who in times of need all pull toghether to help one another. The way it should be. There are lots of things to do in Bethpage, The Bethpage State Park for golf, bike riding, picknicing, hiking, polo and ball playing. The Bethpage Community Park for indoor ice skating and multiple pools in the summer, tennis, handball and a skate park. There are lots of stores, restaurants and community events going on year round. It is a great place to visit and an even better place to live!

I absolutely love living in the suburbs! I always feel relatively safe walking on the streets and the neighbors living in my area of town are very friendly with one another. The suburban streets, too, are very beautiful to take a stroll on, and there are lots of valuable resources nearby such as markets, stores, restaurants, and libraries.
There are many things you can do in the town of Bethpage. There is a train station that can take you into the city for however long you want. Also, near the train station there are many different types of food shops. There is a Subway, a Hawaiian restaurant, Carvel, Chinese restaurant, a Thai restaurant, a bagel store, two different pizzerias, and more. There is also a library to read books or rent video games or movies. You could also go to the high school where there is a turf field which could have any sport played on it. If you don't like those types of sports there is an ice rink across from the school.
