The community of people are friendly and helpful, like a small little family. The school district, homes, and suburban living make this community special. There are a lot of families, and children living there. People are honest, and work hard. There are many shops, schools, parks, malls, and nice restaurants. They keep the roads repaired, and the area clean. Bethel Bakery is the best!

Bethel Park is an idyllic suburb located a short trolley ride from the City of Pittsburgh. New technology, job growth, global companies are within sight of Bethel Park. Bethel is the largest municipality in PA with convenient access to public transportation, libraries, shopping, outdoor recreation a major park and a modern Community Center. Our new high school prepares all students from athletes to musicians to technology aficionados (and others) to prepare for a career or decide upon one. Community activities, fundraisers and support drive the success of our South Hills suburb by offering opportunities for every resident to live their best life and encourage others to do so. A safe suburb with visible police presence, and access to new health care facilities, anyone would love to call Bethel Park "home".
Great neighborhood to grow up in. Schools are great, community is great, everything is great. However, this probably isn't the best place for people without kids in their 20s and 30s.

There's not much going on here. To find anything you have to travel to downtown Pittsburgh, which isn't far, but if you're an active individual who likes to meet like-minded individual in a social setting, live closer to the city. The adjacent township Mt Lebanon is a little closer to the city and has slightly more nightlife on the Route 19 strip.
