I grew up all over Harrison County. I have lived in Bethany 3 times and wouldn't change it for the world. Some may say that I am a small town country girl and never experienced anything beyond it. I say Bethany is a small town with big growth and the community minded people here make it better than any big city ever built.

There are a lot of mom-and-pop shops set up in town, many of the restaurants are the same. They are okay, but the bars are a little sleezy.
There are a lot of mom-and-pop stores which are very nice because they are part of our community, it is like a big family.
