I like Bessemer Alabama because the community is well connected with one another. Your neighbors can become like family, and everyone watch out for one another. The school systems can be better and give more opportunities to children that live here. They have built more recreational centers for the community to build a healthy environment no just for children but, for adults too.
Review Bessemer
What I do like about Bessemer is that there are a lot of families (generations) in this area. Which can be either a good or bad thing because everyone is very familiar with one another. There is only one middle school and one high school, So, everyone kind of grew up together. There are some good areas but more bad areas. However, it has always been about how you make it out to be.
I currently live in McCalla, AL; though it's considered to be a part of Bessemer. McCalla is a very friendly area, most students are homeschooled or private schooled because McAdory is the public school and they are known to not be so great. I am an out of district student at Hoover High School and I absolutely love it.
