Berwyn Heights is a small, safe neighborhood. It is a welcoming neighborhood of all races, ranging from African American to Latino. The school in the neighborhood is a welcoming, bilingual school. The night time is safe; This is the type of neighborhood where I wouldn't be afraid if I accidentally left the car door open!

A cozy and diverse neighborhood only minutes away from College Park and the Greenbelt metro stations, Berwyn Heights is tucked away from the bustle of the city life by offering a comfortable and rewarding experience for any prospective tenants. Lush greenery, great schools, and responsive town resources foster a sense of safety and community in this multicultural suburb.
Commute is relatively less to UMD. This area has a high crime rate. Furthermore, surrounding apartment complexes are old and expensive.
