Very family-oriented, rural living. Small-town, very nice! This is a great place to raise the family. It's so beautiful during winter season, so the kids will enjoy it. There's hardly any crime-activity (That I'm aware of), so that's a good thing. Only one high school, middle school, elementary school, in the area. There's also no walmart, so you have to drive to the next town. Benton Harbor is about 12 miles from Berrien Springs, and Niles is about the same distance but in a different direction. So you just have to choose when you'll go grocery shopping throughout the week.

If you want cemetery quiet, then Berrien Springs is the place for you. If you're a Seventh-Day Adventist, then welcome home! It's a friendly town, but the down side; everybody talks about and watches their neighbors and Seventh-Day Adventistism dominates the town. It's an average town with average people who seem afraid of change or adventure. It's not for me, I'm leaving.
Berrien Springs is a very small village with only a small population of 1,743 people as of June 21, 2019. Berrien Springs has a few breakfast mechanic shops, and what we are really known for is our courthouse, which is the oldest courthouse in the state of Michigan. We also are known for a huge diversity-based college known as Andrews University. The people here are so friendly, and our village itself is so cute, and is just the right size. I love it here!
