Berkley is a very tight-nit community. Very walkable and lots of good places to visit. Downtown area is beautiful, and the school system is very diverse!
Berkley is an amazing place to grow up. I live in nearby Southfield but have been attending Berkley Schools since kindergarten due to the school of choice opportunity. I couldn't imagine feeling such a strong sense of community anywhere else!
My experience in Berkley Michigan was a safe and peaceful community. I never had to deal with any crimes, my neighbors were extremely nice and I always felt like I was part of a community. On top of that, there was always something to do in Berkley, which allowed me to get out of the house and learn more about people and my surrounding environment.
