Great schools, Family Friendly, Nice downtown, Decent commute to NYC (35 min. via Bus), Lots of free events for family: Parades, Family Fun Days, Holiday Party, Fireworks, Fishing Derby, Halloween Trunk a Treat. Moved here from Manhattan and love it! Child active in Little League (Great program) and Soccer! Wonderful athletics and Great MUSIC programs.
Bergenfield is an awesome Suburban area with lots of places to eat and a good school system. Bergenfield High School is one of the best schools in Bergen County. This town is very diverse with ethnicities ranging from Filipinos, Hispanics, Caucasians etc. The schools are at perfect distances from each other and there are several elementary schools depending on which side of town you live in. One thing I think should be improved are the roads in the back streets. Berge
