Nice town, with friendly people who have mostly been here their entire lives. This is the case, except in the summer, wherein we are a vastly important tourist stop for people who enjoy camping beside the lake. However, without a full-time fire department, we'll never grow with larger businesses.

Benton is a small town community where everyone knows everyone just about. Anytime there is something going on, everyone comes together to help out to whatever situation there may be.
I have lived in Benton my entire life and I personally love it! It's a small community where you know most people. I feel living here our community is always willing to help out others in time if need and we stick together to pull through hard times! Not only are we a loving community we are known as the Bible Belt. We have tons of great churches on every corner. Not only do we have great churches we are just a hope and a skip from the wonderful KY Lake!
