Benson is a great town for families. Sporting events are the main entertainment including high school football, little league, soccer, and football for the younger kids. Elementary and High schools are good but a little over crowded. The middle school has a few years of bad leadership but is working on correcting it.
Benson is a small town with some very real people. They are farmers and people who work hard everyday to support their families. If you want a service done in Benson you will most likely get it done by someone who actually cares about the outcome of the service. The probably know you personally and want to help.Even if you are new in town or a visitor the general attitude is very welcoming and open. The downside is simply that there is not much as far as options go. Not much shopping, eating and my personal favorite day care. If you do not mind the drive Tucson is only about forty minutes away and they have everything. I love the charm and personality of Americas small towns and for that reason I love Benson.
