Bensalem is midway between NY and DC.
It abuts Phila and has lower taxes on income and business. It has numerous recreational facilities as well as sports organizations. Bensalem is diversified with ample shopping, public transportation, public and private schools, satellite college campuses, plenty off job opportunities and a variety of entertainment. Bensalem has a well trained and equipped police department with a stellar reputation. It’s so convenient for driving with I-95, Pa Turnpike, Route 1 & 13, & 132 as well as Woodhaven Rd all dissecting the township with access to all of them. Bensalem has a variety of housing including several senior facilities as well as a veterans complex. There is a library, churches of many faiths, golf course, casino, senior center, amphitheater, and 3 major train stations. It’s pretty much has everything to raise a family.

Nothing. Every that I personally have seen and experienced has been in excellent condition. My personal judge of how a township or municipalities state of affairs is how they handle snow storms. Last year (2019-2020) there was no real snow storm worth mentioning to base anything off of. This year (2020-2021) we have been pounded multiple times by snow storms. The roads have been maintained exceptionally well. I understand that snow removal is a heavy task especially on such a big scale like a township. However they have done a spectacular job.
It has a very friendly and family environment. Especially with our holiday events, mini fall festival, thanksgiving dinner hand outs, and christmas dinners.
I love this area. I have lived here for almost 11 years and I have loved every minute of it. I live on the cusp of Philadelphia and Bensalem so I am close to the city while also living in a quiet area of the suburbs. I have no complaints about Bensalem. It is a great place to live.
What I like about Bensalem is that it is a safe community in Bucks County. It consists of friendly communities in Bensalem. The mayor of Bensalem think of all of us as a pride to our community. There were many point of interests in this town.
I think Bensalem is such a nice town with excellent people in it. The one thing that I love here is the police department. They actually love their job and do everything in their power to keep the residents safe. This community is so loving, and I always feel protected.
Bensalem is a safe and quiet neighborhood and I have made a lot of friends while attending elementary, Middle, and high school. The only thing I would change is making more sidewalks so everyone could walk where they need to go.
I like Bensalem. I have lived in Bensalem my whole life and it is a very welcoming town. It has a lot of people and it is very diverse. I am proud that I am from Bensalem. I work in Bensalem, I walk around my neighborhood a lot. Bensalem is a great place to raise a family and I would recommend it to anyone.
I moved to Bensalem from Philadelphia and I love it! Originally I moved so that my daughter has a safe public school to attend but have since fallen in love with the area. the neighborhood is clean and safe and the schools are incredible !
We have been blown away by our experience with the public school district. The teachers are amazing and we are so thankful that life led us here.
I love loving in Bensalem. I have never had any incidents involving safety and overall it is very quiet in my neighborhood. People keep to themselves but there are some who will make effort and be social with you. There are several choices for entertainment and there is an activity for just about anyone. There are several school options as well where you can persue the degree that you desire. Bensalem as a whole includes just about everything one could possibly need and want.
this is an extremely safe place to live. We moved back to Bensalem 2 years ago from Philadelphia (22 years) and even though it’s so close to all that Philly has to offer it’s a whole new and better world. Safety was the most important aspect to us to raise our children. we found that it’s so much more than we ever expected. the Bensalem Police dept has so many wonderful and free events going on. We love the weekly concerts that the local bank sponsors at the amphitheater on the grounds of the police dept. they have an annual fair and so much to do and see. all aspects with safety in mind.
Safe, quiet, and beautiful. Suburban environment for those looking for a place that is private and safe. Full of nature.
Beautiful area, very safe, and friendly people. Everything is close for all of your needs. Malls, grocery stores, and pharmacies. Also I like that is is close to I-95 and it’s a short drive to go into the city for the evening. Plenty of things to do that aren’t a far drive.
I like where I live because there is a diverse group of people that reside near me, and I feel most comfortable in a diverse environment.
Bensalem is an amazing place to grow up/live. The community sticks together in situations where we need each other. The location of Bensalem is perfect, as we are relatively close to Philadelphia, the New Jersey shore, and even New York. With a brand new high school, Bensalem offers great schools where students can get an amazing education. I would not change anything about Bensalem.
I love it here the people are so nice my family has been living here for 60 years and no issue mayor is the best
