Bensalem Township is a family friendly neighborhood that is often ranked as one of the best places to live in the country. It is quiet, peaceful, and has all of the essentials one needs in a community. There are both private and public schooling options in addition to many points of access to highways. One might see this as a good or bad thing, but Bensalem is extremely quiet. There isn't a night life (other than Parx Casino) and it can be very boring. If you are content with a day to day routine without much variation, Bensalem is perfect for you!
Bensalem is midway between NY and DC.
It abuts Phila and has lower taxes on income and business. It has numerous recreational facilities as well as sports organizations. Bensalem is diversified with ample shopping, public transportation, public and private schools, satellite college campuses, plenty off job opportunities and a variety of entertainment. Bensalem has a well trained and equipped police department with a stellar reputation. It’s so convenient for driving with I-95, Pa Turnpike, Route 1 & 13, & 132 as well as Woodhaven Rd all dissecting the township with access to all of them. Bensalem has a variety of housing including several senior facilities as well as a veterans complex. There is a library, churches of many faiths, golf course, casino, senior center, amphitheater, and 3 major train stations. It’s pretty much has everything to raise a family.

The community here is great. I feel very safe living in Bensalem and the first responders make is such. The public school system is amazing, children can expect a great education. The affordability is on the higher end as housing is expensive among other Daily expenses. The community is big but very kind often having community events at the Bensalem Amphitheater and high school. I would recommend highly, it is nice quite community with nice lively events and is off major highways and so access to the city is perfect.
