Bennington is a great small town for families or for people who want to start families. Just 15 minutes from Omaha and 30 minutes from downtown Omaha. There are elementary schools within the town and a junior and senior high school. There are many nice houses and activities that you can enjoy while in Bennington! It is not very diverse, however it is a growing community so it will be soon!
Bennington has the small town country feel with the convenience of being 10 minutes away from the city of Omaha. The school district is one of my favorite parts of living here & it's an extremely family-friendly, supportive community. I only wish they had a few more city recreation areas like a swimming pool, splash pad, etc.
Bennington is the place if you want a small town feel but still want to be close to the city. I appreciate how the citizens interact with each and are friendly to one another. Bennington is constantly changing and there is always something new going on to make the town even better.
BENNINGTON has GREAT schools and low crime rates Housing is very nice 10/10 overall. It has a nice small town feel with plenty of room to grow and good athletics. The only downside is that it dosent have any places to go and let loose.
Love the scenery and the people! Everyone is very welcoming and it’s a great community. I still keep in touch with my old neighbors even though we all moved away years ago. Such a great community. The nature is beautiful too. Love driving around with friends when we’re not doing anything.
I have lived in Bennington almost my entire life and I’ve been able to have the same friends all throughout my eduction. But, this is a small town, so everybody knows what’s going on. Although it is a small town, you are close to the big city, so everything is close. If a person lives in Bennington, then its an easy commute to Omaha for the job, which allows for a lot of opportunities to come along the way. There really aren’t many job opportunities or nightlife activities in Bennington, but being close to a big cities allows for an easy commute to do whatever a person wants.
My home town just love it and all the people around friendly and willing to lend a helping hand! Me and my three siblings graduated from Bennington high and now there children have! Great grandchild started last year so it’s 3 generation of kids !!
Bennington is a rapidly growing area in a fantastic school district. The small town feel is starting to disappear, which is the best thing about it. Everyone in the area is friendly- great area to raise kids!
Bennington, NE is a great place to live and raise a family! It has that small town feel with a caring community. Local businesses are thriving and neighborhood communities are growing. It is a place where everyone helps each other out from fundraisers for families in need of financial assistance due to adverse times in their lives to raising money for community projects like cleaning up the town and area highways of litter to tree planting ceremonies. The schools are always rated very high in the state and the teachers are awesome! Bennington is a quiet little gem of a town!
I have loved living here. Overall, it is very quiet and safe. My neighbors are all extremely respectful, and friendly. My younger sister attends the Bennington Middle School, which she loves. My mom and I often walk the trail around the park and lake, and have never felt unsafe.
I like the small town feel with access to major city amenities. Great schools and great teachers! Neighborhood is always looking out for others.
It is a great community and people are always so friendly and helpful! It still has that small town, community feel even though Omaha is right next to it.
I went to high school in Bennington. this is a great school with great teachers! I also took a job in Bennington i worked at the before and after school program. it was a great place to work.
I moved to Bennington in eighth-grade and I feel in love with it. There is such a good atmosphere here and people are so friendly.I love that you still get that small town feel while only being 15 minutes away from everything you need. Even though I am going to Missouri for college I could see myself moving back and starting a family in Bennington.
