Bend Reviews

From skiing and biking to SUPing and tubing, I have tried so many things and grown as a person. Bend has almost everything a big city does but without all the peoplef you are a fan of the outdoors Bend is the place for you! I grew up in Bend and I always have something to do, no matter what season it is. Great place to live and raise a family. Brewery on every corner. Good places to eat and shop and closest enough to Portland if you want more. Very big city vibe as far as traffic. No planning on growth. Strop mall architecture. Biggest issue is housingBend is amazing, yet it's slowly going downhill as home prices further increase and more Californians move north to escape the drought and bring their non-roundabout driving with themPretentious gated community of white people who brought or earned or inherited their money from elsewhere mainly LA. So much traffic. Plenty to do outdoors with the river and mountain near by. Night life is mainly drinking. The only downside is that the
Bend is a wonderful place to raise children, enjoy the liveliness of the surrounding forestry and lakes, and to buy homes to live out the rest of your life in! Lots of local festivities and concerts all year round! So much entertainment in just a few miles. Bend is a beautiful place to live, just not for me. Other people will definitely enjoy spending their summers at the river/lake while others spend their time in the mountain! Enjoy the Sun, snow, and fun of central Oregon!
