Ben Lomond is home. Ben Lomond is Love. Ben Lomond is a part of me. I have grown up in Ben Lomond my whole life. We are a small community but a strong united one. Quick trips to the grocery store or gas station are always filled with familiar faces and familiar smiles. My favorite thing about Ben Lomond is the trust we have within our town. Not once in my life have my parents felt the need to lock our house and car doors during the night and day and not once have we dealt with theft or robbery throughout our 18 years living in Ben Lomond. Walks to town after dark are never filled with fear. Ben Lomond is one of the safest loving places I have ever been to and I’m extremely lucky to call this wonderful town home.

In my general area, crime is minimal...but there is some. Most stems from drug use, like sales, and burglary. Possession of drugs is high. Those kinds of crime
I believe that this area is a wonderful area to live in. I live in the redwoods, which is beautiful. The are is clean, it is close to a medium size city, and very close to a urban area. So if I crave city life, I can commute a short distance and get what I need. Also I live only 10 minutes to the beach, so I have that aspect also. The only thing I don't like is the cost of living here...very expensive
