Beltsville is not a big city, so there’s not many things to do. It’s a small, quiet town. However, it still has everything you need, including grocery stores, great restaurants, movie theater, library and much more. There are elementary, middle, and high schools. The schools are not all that compared to others, but I have made some great friends going to school here. The neighborhood is safe, considering that there are rarely any serious crimes reported. In fact the last time Beltsville was on the news was when there was a house fire.
As someone who used to work in Beltsville, I have seen that the area has many small and large businesses available for residents and non-residents to find employment. Examples of these businesses include Sardi's, PNC Bank, Yia Yia's Kitchen, and Da Rae Won. Many businesses are often Asian cuisines so those interested in food will find themselves satisfied. The area also gives off a welcoming feel as not many people seem rude or disapproving of others. Overall, Beltsville is a nice area.
I really like my neighborhood. My neighbors are pleasant and everything I need is within walking distance. My neighborhood is also close to all the major highways in my county. I can easily access the beltway and the interstate in a matter of minutes. While all of these things are really nice perks to living in Beltsville, I think I like the fact that it is an older community so the homes have really large yards. The yards in my neighborhood are large enough for an in ground pool and a garden.
