When I first moved here two years ago, I was insanely scared. I was so scared that I wouldn't make any friends or connections for the few years of high school that I spent here, but I was very mistaken. Everyone here in Belmont is welcoming and sweet, it's very much a "sweet southern town." Although the town is not completely perfect, it's close enough to it and I loved every minute of it. I'd recommend living here if you want to get away from big cities and are obsessed with football!
Belmont located in Gaston County is a great place to relax and call home! There are diversity in resident from the retired elder, thriving young professionals, and growing families. Belmont offers extraordinary places to dine. It is welcoming to seafood lovers! The fine dining is charming too!
Nice quaint town. College student life with the Abbey is great. The trails around the town are really awesome and you can easily walk from your house to them and discover plenty of adventure. The weather truly lends to this as well with so many days of clear skies and gentle breezes. While small, there's plenty to do downtown. All of the restaurants are wonderful, especially check out Nellie's and The String Bean. Music in the Park on Thursdays is an excellent activity. The libraries also are super family friendly and a great place to snuggle up to a good book
