Bellwood is a very small, personable community. The small town allows for people to be able to engage in the community and make a difference rather easily. The school district is filled with spectacular staff and faculty.
Bellwood is small town where everyone knows everyone else's business. This could sometimes be a bad thing. There are other times when this is a wonderful and our little community pulls together in times of need. There is currently a little girl that is suffering from DIPG. The whole community has pulled together to help her and her family cope with this debilitating disease and make Madison as comfortable and welcomed as possible. It is times like these that I am proud to say that I am from Bellwood.
Smaller town than my hometown of Tyrone, PA. I played sports in high school, and Bellwood was our hometown rival. They have a great school, and it is a family-friendly area. I would actually love to move there from Tyrone because I would prefer my young boys attend school there.
