I have lived in Bellwood since I was about 3 years old. It is a beautiful little town and everyone is very friendly. It is the kind of small town where it seems like everyone knows everyone. Compared to other school districts, Bellwood was pretty good. There could be some improvments with teachers. Most teachers where very nice and willing to help. There where a few who where not helpful at all and where rather rude. The high school principle could also change. The current one is not very nice and overly power hingry.

Bellwood is a very small, personable community. The small town allows for people to be able to engage in the community and make a difference rather easily. The school district is filled with spectacular staff and faculty.
Bellwood is small town where everyone knows everyone else's business. This could sometimes be a bad thing. There are other times when this is a wonderful and our little community pulls together in times of need. There is currently a little girl that is suffering from DIPG. The whole community has pulled together to help her and her family cope with this debilitating disease and make Madison as comfortable and welcomed as possible. It is times like these that I am proud to say that I am from Bellwood.
