Bellville is a very charming town. It is quite enough where you are not constantly distracted, but has enough to do where you aren't bored. My favorite thing in Bellville is the local coffee shop. It is a relaxing place to study, or simply spend time with friends.

I grew up in Bellville and lived there for about ten years. It is where I called home and I am happy to say I do not call it home anymore. It is a great town, just not for me. There is nothing to do around the town. It is a very closed-minded, conservative town. If you enjoy being able to voice your opinions, have many activities to do at the tip of your fingers, or having a prosperous social life, Bellville is not for you. If you enjoy quiet weekends in, gossip-filled restaurants, or have a family of little children, then Bellville is definitely the place for you to be. It is family friendly, a safe town, and the public education system is always rated 'excellent'.
Small town charm with very clean and friendly atmosphere. A few little shops in town (mostly antiques). Lots of food choices, including a family diner, a few pizza/coffee shops, as well as more sophisticated dining at the Wishmaker Bed & Breakfast. Two ski resorts within 10 minutes or less.
