I grew up in Bellville and lived there for about ten years. It is where I called home and I am happy to say I do not call it home anymore. It is a great town, just not for me. There is nothing to do around the town. It is a very closed-minded, conservative town. If you enjoy being able to voice your opinions, have many activities to do at the tip of your fingers, or having a prosperous social life, Bellville is not for you. If you enjoy quiet weekends in, gossip-filled restaurants, or have a family of little children, then Bellville is definitely the place for you to be. It is family friendly, a safe town, and the public education system is always rated 'excellent'.
The town is very small and there is not many things to do. If you want to go to the mall or the movies you have to drive half an hour, but the town is very close knit and the schools are great.
the area where I live is a small rural town. I enjoy living here because it is a more layed back atmosphere and the community is very supportive of the members of the town
