I absolutely Love Bellingham! Lots of things to do! The people are friendly, outgoing, and polite! There’s lots of hiking and nature scenes around. If you’re more into night life there’s a few clubs that are super fun! Plus there’s lots of unique restaurants all around town! Check out Cafe Rumba for some bomb Peruvian food, Horseshoe Cafe for great diner food 24/7, Pel Meini for delicious Russian dumplings, and lots more! There’s also a very big brew culture around town so if you’re into beer or brewing Bellingham is right for you!

So much to do, see, and explore! You won't find this city's eccentric shops and eateries anywhere else in the state (except maybe Seattle). Whether you're here in the daytime or at night, there is something for everyone! Most eateries are open late at night and many of them offer excellent and quick-service food for low prices (Railroad Ave). If you're more into the high-end side of things, check out the little town of Fairhaven, located within Bellingham. Fairhaven is an adorable place full of historic brick buildings, fanciful eateries, and boutique-style shops. It's super fun just to walk around, if you're not one to spend money!
Bellingham is very environmentally friendly, and you will find recycling and/or composting systems in almost every place you go within the city. The outer parts of the city are abundant with greenery and bodies of water, providing many opportunities for recreational activities--hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, and more!
Bellingham is an amazing city! Despite being home to Western Washington University, there is plenty for kids, parents, or college students to do. Bellingham is located right on the water as well as being surrounded by many lakes and the Chuckanut Mountains which provide excellent places to go hiking. The food, particularly in the downtown or Fairhaven districts is amazing and caters to all allergies or diets. Mount Baker and the North Cascades National Park are also a short drive away and provide opportunities for winter sports.
