Clean area with easy walking accessibility. Some restaurants. Close to several other neighborhoods/highways.
Bellevue area is a great area to walk around either trail through the woods or just on the sidewalks. Good restaurants nearby even bar with some nightlife. Parks for kids and dogs are maintained well and very close.
My family moved here in 2019. We love it! The people are kind and loving. The school district has amazing teachers. Everything you need is really close.
Me and my partner bought our home last year and it has been great. Our neighbors and people we meet are nice and welcoming. Lots of niche stores and things to do! Farmers market every week and street festivals all through the summer. Some have said the next Lawrenceville, I would certainly say it has the potential.
Poorest air quality in Pa . Sewage treatment plant directly across from it sends in swarms of mosquitoes & nasty air every summer. Not very well taken care of houses and apartment buildings. Lots of undesirables. I would never live here again . Noooo thanks . Terrible area.
Bellevue,PA is a beautiful suburban town outside of Pittsburgh! There are small shops with loads of local services lining the main Street. Features such as diverse churches, vintage library, dog park and pool are some of my favorites. It's a walking district with bus lines going directly into the city. Every town has it's problems, but overall the citizens here really care about each other and where they live. If want to destress I'll just go for a long walk around town and stop by Lincoln bakery for a fresh donut.
Bellevue is a beautiful city.the parks are nice and everybody is nice. It’s a quiet city and a great place to raise kids.
I have lived in Bellevue my whole life, and I couldn't ask for a better place to grow up and live. The sense of community in this little walkable town makes it the perfect place to raise a family. You have the small town feel but easy access to the city. This ever evolving borough is the best town in PA!
Very sleepy, slow pace town. A very small school district allowing school kids the ability to know every one in their graduating class. The main street ends in a bridge entering the city of Pittsburgh.
The suburb of Bellevue located minutes outside of downtown Pittsburgh is a wonderful place to live. There is a wide diversity of people who are welcoming and friendly. The area manages to have a small town atmosphere amongst the busy city of near by Pittsburgh. The area is safe and family friendly thanks to the parks and many festivals the town is always hosting. I am disappointed that I did not realize just how relaxing and convenient Bellevue is because I would have moved here much sooner.
At one time Bellevue was a small flourishing community. Over the last decade the crummy apartments have ruined its old charm and character. There use to be a wide variety of small businesses and shops kids and adults could shop and hang out at. Now it's lined with empty buildings and somehow still no parking. It's sad to see what is a slow progressive demise of what was once a quaint working class community.
I like that Bellevue is a small borough and everyone knows one another. I'd like to see their education platform change. The quality of the education the high school kids receive isn't very great. Bellevue is a good town to raise a family or a nice place to live if you don't have a car because everything you need is in walking distance.
Bellevue gives a small town feel to a city neighborhood. Affordable to those who do not make a ton of money but still want to be safe and secure.
I really like the diversity of my community. There is a good mix of cultures and educational status. We often have numerous foreign families living in the school district of Northgate. I think Bellevue could improve upon their maintenance of the area. Maybe try planting more flowers or painting to brighten up the town.
I've just recently moved to Bellevue to be closer to my fiancé's family and for the most part we love it here. The commute to Pittsburgh is so much easier to navigate - just get on on the Boulevard and there you go you're in the city within minutes. Now if only we had our one on one time back :)
It's a very quiet neighborhood and so the building that I live in. Thresh stores within walking distance as well as the bus stop for public transportation.
there are more and more houses coming on the market. Some need work, some do not. It all depends on your budget and the specific area you are looking for. There are great opportunities to get a house for a good price and put some work into it.
