Belleville Reviews

Beautiful and a lovely place to retire. My grandparents live here, I have spent a lot of time in the town. The town never holds anything other than 2 or 3 parades, but you can go to the many Amish markets or the auction barn. In the summer it's fun to hike or go to Greenwood lake or Raystown lake. Pretty close to State College (45 minute drive).

But it has horrible diversity (I've seen maybe 2 or 3 total POC), it's highly conservative and christian (no one here is ever going to know I'm bisexual and atheist), and boring. It isn't super exclusive though, everyone here is pretty friendly. But, there is next to nothing to do. At least there is no crime

Belleville is a small town nestled between two mountains. It is safe and a great place to raise a family. There is a large population of Amish and Mennonites.
