Though we have lived in Belle Plaine for only a few years. It didn't take long for us to feel like part of the community. Our neighbors are friendly and helpful and the whole community really comes together not just to celebrate when there is a big event but to help people when someone is in need. It felt like home instantly!

I love living in Belle Plaine because it is a small town where everyone knows almost everybody and has a comforting feel to it. Whether you are at school, the gas station, or local grocery store, you will most definitely find someone around that you know. The school systems are very convenient if you live in town or in the country and I have never felt unsafe while being in school.
It is a small friendly community. Great town to raise a family in! There are a lot of parks and sidewalks. Very affordable housing.
