I grew up in the lovely little town of Belle Plaine, MN. Belle Plaine means beautiful prairie and that it is. Right outside of town, the Minnesota river cuts through a valley. The scenery is beautiful all year long, but fall is my personal favorite. My experience at Belle Plaine Senior High was overall a good one; they offer AP classes, in which students can take college credits for free while still in high school. There are a few bars located downtown Belle Plaine that offer drinks, pool. darts, and live music on the weekends. Anyone who is friendly and willing to meet new people will fit right in. Belle Plaine is incredibly family friendly and I always feel safe there. It is a great place to raise a family. For me, Belle Plaine is an escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy city that I access on a frequent basis.
Review Belle Plaine
I recently moved to Belle Plaine when my parents bought a house here. However, I do not know much about their public schools due to the fact that I do not go to school here, I commute to Shakopee for their high school.
It's a small town. Everyone is really friendly. You can most certainly expect a wave when walking or driving by. We call the Belle Plaine welcome. BBQ days are the best and the parades remid you that people still get together and have fun.
