Belle Plaine Reviews
Review Belle Plaine
I grew up in the lovely little town of Belle Plaine, MN. Belle Plaine means beautiful prairie and that it is. Right outside of town, the Minnesota river cuts through a valley. The scenery is beautiful all year long, but fall is my personal favorite. My experience at Belle Plaine Senior High was overall a good one; they offer AP classes, in which students can take college credits for free while still in high school. There are a few bars located downtown Belle Plaine that offer drinks, pool. darts, and live music on the weekends. Anyone who is friendly and willing to meet new people will fit right in. Belle Plaine is incredibly family friendly and I always feel safe there. It is a great place to raise a family. For me, Belle Plaine is an escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy city that I access on a frequent basis.
The police are fairly active in investigating complaints of possible crimes or suspicious activity. There are a lot of suspicious people in my neighborhood who go around during both the day and night and try opening windows, doors, etc. If you don't keep everything locked up, you are at risk of being burglarized, whether you are home at the time or not.
There are some good small town restaurants and bars. There is only one big box grocery store, with over priced groceries, but we shop there because it's convenient.
