Belle Isle Reviews
Review Belle Isle
It's a very nice place to live. Quiet with friendly neighbors. I would like to see more diversity within Belle Isle but overall, a nice place to live with a great location, that's near schools, the mall, grocery stores and the airport!
I live right outside of Bell Isle, on Nela Avenue. It's very beautiful, the houses are so nice and if you go down certain roads you'll stumble upon some mansions. I went to Pine Castle elementary and it definitely needs some work done on it, but overall I enjoyed my time there. We have the Bell Isle sheriff police department and just having the station makes me feel safer. We even have a government official building used for voting. A very quiet neighborhood, but everyone knows each other. A "dog" neighborhood. Diversity... kind of slacking. I would say it's a predominately white neighborhood with a majority of the minorities living outside of Bell Isle, where I live. Since I live with my mom outside of Bell Isle I can't really talk about the living cost but I could only assume it's not cheap. Not too many jobs around, but there are back roads help you reach pretty much anywhere.
I have always wanted to travel, and yet I feel I will always come back to my hometown. It has a sort of enigmatic pull, with that sense of internationalism that comes from all the different cultures integrated into the city of Orlando. There are a thousand different sides to this city, and there is always something new to discover. In the suburbs, there is sense of being in a small town, with friendly neighbors and constant community engagement. But just ten minutes beyond my suburban neighborhood is the downtown area, which has always reminded me of a miniature New York City, with the beautiful skyscrapers and the constant mix of big business and local artistry. We have huge amusement parks juxtaposed against unique slices of local flavor, from farmers markets and local restaurants to galleries and festivals of art, music, and more.
