This has been a very unified but safe community! I am happy that my children can go outside an not have to worry about anything. The neighbors are so nice, and welcoming. The area is quiet. The community is always clean. There is hardly ever any trash or litter anywhere. The communities often have festivals or get togethers and they are public. I really like this city. We don't have to pay city taxes. Its truly a great place. Plenty of places to live and raise your family. the surrounding school systems are great as well.
I have lived in Bellbrook my whole life; I went to each school and only moved out of the state for university. Growing up, Bellbrook was a very safe and small town but over the last few years, housing and transfer rate have increased dramatically. This has called for most of the open land to be turned into housing developments and at the moment, the school system has gone underway. The town is now divided into individuals who care about changing the schools and financing and those that wish to keep the town as it has always been. I would like to see more diversity and more connectedness within my community as it had been when I was a child. People change over time and my hometown is bound to change with them, but there seem to be conflicts left and right with differences in values. The town, nevertheless, is still fairly small and a safe place to live and raise children. The school system, though flawed, strives to improve. There isn't much around but it's a quaint little town.
It is a very small town. Very homey. Lots of people come to bellbrook for many reasons. Whether its our school system, our small town, or our athletics.
