I love living in Belford, it is a sub part of Middletown Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey. People living in Belford, are a part of their very own close- knit community, everywhere in Belford is walkable. We have our own elementary school, and a downtownish area, called "The Junction", with a Dunkin Donuts, several pizza joints, hair parlors, ice cream stops and different convenience stores.
Belford is a quaint small town located within the center of Middletown Township. It is close to both the Belford Ferry, and Academy Bus lines which many people take on their commute into Manhattan for work.
Belford is one of the safest areas within Monmouth County, as well as a beautiful place to raise children. The public school system is exceptional, people very friendly, and there is always some local happening on the weekends for children as well as adults. Beaches are only a 10 minute ride by car, and a bike trail encompasses the area as well for the health conscious. I feel it is a stroke of luck to have been fortunate enough to find this gem in the rough. Our children would surely agree.

I have really enjoyed living in Belford for 19 years. The town is very safe and it is easy to fit in. Belford is a typical suburban town in New Jersey. Belford is twenty minutes away from the beach at most, with a lot of activities going around throughout the year. With great location, and a mix of great things, Belford is a fantastic town to be living in.
