I've grown up in Beech Grove my entire life, and there has not been one day where I felt unsafe. It's a city, but it's smaller, so you tend to see people you know a lot more. It's a very tight community with ties around every corner. On Emerson Avenue is a lot of places to eat and things to do, and the park is lovely. I love this city and plan to live here later on in my life after college.

Beech grove has been my home for over two years now and i enjoy where i live. There is always something going on here, sometimes its a festival other times its just local bars putting on music. It doesn't matter whether its fourth of July or Christmas, this community comes together and makes you feel welcomed.
Beech Grove is a very conservative town without much racial or cultural diversity. However, it is somewhat family friendly where people often spend time riding bikes and walking outside.
