My family and I just became a resident of this city and so far the current street I live on is good, compared to the city I came from in Cleveland. The schools in this city have a great testing and passing ratio, but I do not care for the process they use to distribute information to the parents. I feel like I'm in the dark when it comes to seeking information about my child's grades/progress in the teachers classroom. My neighborhood so far I have very few complaints. The police are there at the drop of a dime when you need them and when you don't need them.
It's a quiet, seemingly safe neighborhood, with nice lawns, fancy old houses. There is a decent amount of construction happening in the surrounding areas. Groceries are fairly accessible to get to walking. Quaint little shops are uptown. There's a cool natural park to explore.
Bedford was a great community to grow up in. I attended Bedford school systems from grades 1 - 12 and had the unique experience of being apart of a class was diverse not only in race and background but also in viewpoints and talent. Bedford was a quaint, safe community that was very family oriented and historic.
