Bedford is a small little town pretty much in the middle of nowhere. You walk around the corner and you know everyone. One of the biggest aspects that Bedford has is its safety. You don’t have to worry as much in Bedford and its great. Although there isn’t much to do around there, our parks are great. Nature is beautiful out there and you can’t help but admire it. In addition, Bedford has a great sports program and our high school softball team won states last year. My family has lived here for a long time and it is always a ‘home sweet home’ moment when I come back here.

Bedford is a very unique place to live. It offers four seasons which is unknown to some places and is small, allowing everyone to know virtually everyone. However I would like to see some more restaurants or replacements of current restaurants.
Bedford, Virginia is a quiet little town valley of the Blue Ridge mountains. The surrounding countryside is one of the biggest selling points for Bedford. It is also conveniently located between to major cities in Virginia, Lynchburg and Roanoke. This allows for a good balance between nature and cultural experinces.
