Small, quaint town with beautiful brick buildings and neat boutique stores in the downtown. Friendly people. Also home to two golf courses, one of which is located at the OMNI Bedford Springs Hotel. Come for a visit, and you'll want to stay for a lifetime!
Review Bedford
I've lived near Bedford my entire life. My family has never been more than 20 minutes from the town and we still have immediate family that live there. It was a major town used by soldiers when the United States was fighting for its independence. Historical downtown Bedford contains Fort Bedford and several townhouses that were used during the American Revolution. The town has seen better days as drug use and trafficking has increased. There are upsides to the town and areas that are flourishing.
Bedford, PA is a great historic place in PA. The town is small and people are friendly. Each fall there is the Fall Foliage Festival where many people come to sell their goods, also there is the Bedford county fair, which is exciting. There is a small hospital which serves basic needs.
