Working in Beckley
Beckley is an amazing part of our state. It is right in the heart of southern WV, surrounded by so many things that our beautiful state has to offer. It is a growing community with many new businesses and schools coming into the area. While Beckley is rich in natural attractions and historical sights, it is not the safest area. Living locally, I have witnessed some of the characters that can sometimes take away from the great city of Beckley. As the city grows and develops, I am seeing some great changes coming with it. I am very excited to see Beckley as it becomes the beautiful part of our state that it was meant to be!
Beckley is a great town! Beckley is the town I grew up in and it will always be considered my home! The downside to me is that it is a small town so there's not much to do, although we have some great events spread out through the year, like chilli night or the women's expo!
Beckley is a gem that too few people have the opportunity to enjoy. It is quaintly nestled between the West Virginia White Water Rafting areas and Grandview State Park. It offers a large selection of restaurants from local eateries to national chains and has countless lodging options in all price ranges. If you love the outdoors this is the area to visit no matter the season. With a short 30 minute drive unlimited hiking, skiing, or rafting adventures can be yours to conquer! Stop in this season and see what fun it can bring to your vacation!
