If you want to live in a small town where the neighborhoods are quiet, then Fairway Canyon is a great place to settle in! Not only is it a friendly neighborhood, but there's a nearby golf course that anyone can attend! This would be a great place for anyone to retire from work.
I was a born and raised here. It really is the best place to live . You can go 30-45 minutes in any direction and be at the beach, mountains and desert. Beaumont is located in the San Gorgonio pass on the way to Palm Springs. Here you get a little bit of every season, just enough to enjoy the season. Over the years I have seen Beaumont grow from a one street light and 2 stop sign town with a population of 2000 people to a community of 64,000 people. Although the growth could of been a bit smaller we still some how are able to keep the small town feel.
Growing up here makes my review a bit biased, but I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
Beaumont is a small but giving community. While there is a lot of crime in these neighborhoods, the amount of respect one individual has for another; typically, is very pleasing. The younger generations help the city a good amount I believe. Our local parks are no where near trashed, and we dont have much trash along side the roads. The people in this community care about their surroundings. That alone is just a great ideal because that aspect of life is normally ignored. We as people are destroying the Earth so I'm glad the people of Beaumont try a little bit harder to not do so.
