Bear Reviews

I have lived in Bear all my life. The area our house is in used to be farmland. Now it is unrecognizable as it is covered in neighborhoods and stores. I liked growing up here. Suburban neighborhood, a few minutes from everything from grocery stores, movie theaters, appliance stores, library, mall, restaurants, you name it. The air probably isn't that clean because of the plant nearby, and there have been break-ins in our neighborhood lately. The quality of the area has gone down since I was younger. But overall it's a nice place to live.
Bear is a neighboring suburb of Newark, DE. It is convenient to most businesses such as grocery stores, small shops and various fast food and chain restaurants. It is close to Route 1 to head south towards the beaches, or north to access I-95. Christiana Mall is nearby as well as the hospital. Quality of schools need to improve as well as numerous crime-ridden developments and subsidized housing.
The overall experience of living in Bear is great. It's centrally located between Philadelphia and Baltimore so there's a lot you can do without having to travel far. Lums Pond is a nice attraction in the Bear community as it has Go Ape, a zip line course.
