I have loved living in Bear Creek, North Carolina. It is such a friendly and safe place to live. Everyone knows everyone. Neighbors are willing to help other neighbors whenever it is needed. There is no other place where I would want to live. I would rather live in Bear Creek than live in a big city anyday.

I want to love the place because it is where I was born and raised. Unfortunately there is a serious drug problem there and crime is a serious issue, and whoever isn't doing drugs is almost terrifyingly religious and there is so much hatred in that small town. Also, fair warning, they are not open to newcomers. You were either born there or you're an outsider. Especially if you come from the north.
Bear Creek is home. It's a huge township when looking at it on the map. You can live in Bear Creek and have a different area code than your neighbor!
