Great, little community. It's so diverse in both age and race which is awesome. People here are old-fashion friendly, neighborly and hospitable which make it feel extra homey. Prices are great, especially for starting a family or first time buyers. The best part is they vote red here so it's all-around a true American town!

I have lived in Beachwood for 23 years, and in fact I have been visiting for about 60 years (family had a bungalow). I am surprised by some of the ratings, especially the crime, which is pretty much non-existent. Small petty crimes, usually kids getting into a little mischief. Housing is tough, because there are not many rentals. There are places to walk your dog and yardage are large enough here. This is a little bedroom community. We have 2 schools within the Town, so not much busing, which in general for kids is horrible (everywhere).
I really like this town. The only downside is the town is conservative. They usually vote GOP.
I love the location, you're always close to something to do. Whether it be the beach, the city, great hiking spots, really anything is within reach. The town is overall safe and great people live here. I've had great experiences at the schools I've attended while living here and there is great access to programs for kids.
