Very welcoming town to anyone. It is a small town, but there is good people all around you. The school system is totally underrated in my opinion, I mean yes there is flaws and most people won’t agree, even myself. Overall they do their best. I have no complaints besides the people who don’t try and make the town look dirty and trashy. People work hard in this town and still are the most generous people I’ve ever met. I’ve only lived here for 2 years, but really it feels like I have lived here all my life. I can’t think of any place better to want live, if you’re looking for a small town that has friendly people, and a lot of opportunities for everyone.

Baxter Springs is a quaint little country town. It has an adorable old-town that is actually used and kept up to date. It also has wonderful access to the river for fishing and a couple parks that have nice sidewalks to run on as well as great playgrounds.
Its a small quiet town where we just bought a house. I also work for the community as an EMS worker.
