Bath is a beautiful city with an excellent maritime culture that captivates the entire community into the High School itself (hence the mascot 'Shipbuilders'!) Being a small-knit community but still calling itself a city, one can find their niche easily within and meet many interesting and influential people—finding their calling and growing up with support from every block. If anything were to change, which is something to happen soon and in progress, would be the rebuilding and complete renovation of the public high school. This will invoke many more students to learn and pursue their education further and hopefully move back to Bath to stimulate its economy and further its growth.
Bath, ME has the key to my heart. The town its self is small, but it has so much history. Whether its from the beautiful, giant houses on the water, to the museum down the street, it truly is the most amazing place. Downtown Bath has very nice shops for clothes, antiques, books, and even ice cream! There is also a beautiful spot to sit and over look the water. Bath is the home of Bath Iron Works, where amazing destroyer ships are made! Bath, Maine is the place where I will raise my family one day, for it is the homiest, safest, most beautiful little town I have ever set my eyes on.
Great small town with a lot to offer. There is a city bus that comes with a schedule. A patron pays 10 dollars which covers 12 rides. It is very economical and there are a lot of taxi services, too. You do not need a car in this town! They've got you covered.
