It is a smaller city, located between two large metropolitans - Buffalo and Rochester. As a result the city is now trying to grow rapidly and losing its small city charm.
Review Batavia
There are restaurants around every corner. Apple Bees, Tully's, Denny's, Subway, Starbucks, pizza places, Taco Bell, Mexican and more. Wish there was a Olive Garden.
Fall is the best season. The weather is cool but not too cold. Winter sucks. It lasts about 5 months and the temperature is less than 0 quite often. But it is pretty and you can ski or snow board and it makes for great family outside activities. Spring feels like it lasts about a week because it will be nice and rainy and the next day for a week it will snow. Then a week after that it will be 80 and drop back down to the 50s and 40s. Summer is hot. When summer is in full spring the temperature is around 90 everyday. It rains often but that isn't a bad thing.
