Great town to live in! Safe, nice, and all around amazing. The schools are good and the people are nice.
Do not move here!! You will pay thousands in taxes on your home and not be able to do what you want in your own yard! Need a permit for everything! They have so many ridiculous rules and most make no sense!! Its been so aggravating. Want a fence, have to get what they approve. Want a patio? They prob won't approve what You want to do. Want a pergola? God forbid you ask for one with a roof, they'll tell you it cant be near your home. The schools here aren't that good either . Ratings went down alot in the last few years. You will pay an arm and a leg for Water here too
As a resident of over 28 years, I've raised a family, had my children in the public school system, and involved with community activities. The community is wonderful.
I love living in Bartlett! it is close enough to the city to make a day trip or commute to work if needed. It has excellent vibes and everyone is very friendly! I feel very safe living here.
I enjoy Bartlett primarily because it is an incredibly safe place to live. I personally have never experienced crime here, and I don't know anyone who has. That being said, I can't give it 5 stars because there is very little to do here, you have to travel a little to get to any interesting places. Bartlett would get 5 stars if they sat a nice big amphitheater in one of the parks or something along those lines, something cool that the numerous local bands can play at.
Very boring, safe suburb with OK schools. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to Schaumburg.
Currently I am in high-school and i have loved bartlett illinois. It is right near a train stop and is just the right distance from larger roads
This town is quiet and safe; there is a good amount of diversity as well. However, I would like to see more shopping and restaurant options downtown
Bartlett is a nice mid-sized suburb community outside of Chicago. The schools are great and there are plenty of restaurants and activities. I also feel safe in Bartlett and enjoy the friendliness of our neighbors.
Most people have never head of Bartlett, but it is a very safe and welcoming town. It is very family friendly and it is only an hour from the city of Chicago. I loved growing up here and having access to so many fun activities like the water park and I loved having sports fields so close!
Bartlett is a nice town, but with very little to do. We've been wanting a little sit down cafe for years, but have yet to receive one. The atmosphere is nice, there's a new park being built and it's huge.
Bartlett has been a very safe place to live in. I enjoy the people and the hospitality the town gives. If I were to ask for any changes within this town, it would be to be more diverse.
I’ve lived in Bartlett for 21 years. It has a small-town feel, yet at the same time has many amenities that you’d think to find only in larger cities. A great recreation center complex, tons of parks and preserves, shopping, dining, and an amazing village-owned golf course are just a few highlights of the town. Everyone is neighborly, friendly, and there seems to be a strong sense of community pride.
Bartlett is a very safe and welcoming town. After living here for many years it has become my home forever.
Bartlett is an excellent town that provides a great sense of community while still being in close proximity to Chicago. The public works, fire department, police department, and staff at city hall are incredibly qualified and caring members of the community: I learned this first hand as an intern at city hall! Additionally, Bartlett hosts a number of community events and holds a number of local and family-owned businesses that are worth checking out!
A resident for 42 years. Good recreational opportunities. Most residents are commuters as their are few employers in the community with above minimium wage jobs.
Bartlett, IL is a good place and environment for everyone. The people here are nice and very welcoming. The are good schools here. It feels really safe and family friendly here. I totally recommend it here.
