Barnesville is a really small town with little population. There is not much there other than a few resturants, 1 public school, a few churches, and a little more. This city is not very old but has a great amount of history. I have lived in Barnesville for almost 10 years and I really enjoy it. I like the small-town because there is not much traffic, and it takes like five minutes to get to either the grocercy store or to school. The people that live in Barnesville are super nice and friendly and are what make this town so comforting and easy to get learn.
Review Barnesville
More restaurants, More diversity. The pros to the town is that is is very small and intimate however, there is not much to do for a younger crowd. Mainly everyone who lives in Barnesville has families even though it is a college town.
The local businesses include restaurants to boutiques. There are a few big name fast food restaurants and some family owned restaurants. There is one dollar general and some basic stores like Walgreens and CVS. If you need anything specific, you will have to drive at least 20 minutes out of town. Our city is very small and there aren't many options whether you are choosing food or necessities. The one or two boutiques never last long.
